End-to-end encrypted email using OpenPGP. Your private keys are generated in your browser and never touch our servers.

No. Your private PGP key is encrypted with your password and stored on our servers. We do not have your password, so we cannot decrypt your key, and therefore cannot read your emails.
Your data is portable. You can export your PGP keys and emails at any time from Settings.
The encryption libraries and protocols we use (OpenPGP, WireGuard) are open standards. Our implementation details are documented in the admin docs.
Running a VPN infrastructure (bandwidth, IP addresses, servers) has real costs. We include it in paid plans to keep the service sustainable.
